FELLOWSHIP

Members of Westminster firmly believe that our lives are greatly enriched when we gather to break bread, to get to know each other better, and to have fun. Activities at the church range from large congregational meals to foot-stomping square dances. Food preparation for most fellowship events is done by our well-organized Kitchen Committee.

Social Hours: Fellowship Hour is held after the 11:00 service in Fellowship Hall or on the lawn when weather permits. We hope that newcomers to the church and the community will allow us to get to know them by joining us for coffee/fellowship hour. One or more welcome Lunches take place after morning worship on specified Sundays in the fall to help newcomers and oldtimers get acquainted, and to welcome students to Westminster.

Adult Lunch Group: Older persons in the congregation enjoy monthly luncheons in the Church Library, with a chance to visit and become better acquainted. Rides are available for those who cannot drive.

Non-Group: Occasional covered-dish suppers on Friday evenings at members' homes offer a chance to get to know people better. The non-structured event is known for its delicious food and fine fellowship.

Church Nights: Held occasionally throughout the year, particularly during Lent, these evenings give the congregation a chance to eat dinner, visit, and worship or hear a program together.
